***Ice Report***

Another cold, cold weekend has ice reports at 10-12” of good, solid, clear ice. Ice roads have opened up on many lake accesses and trucks with permanent ice houses have popped up almost overnight.

***Fishing Report***

Walleye - Walleye fishing has been either lights out or you're left wondering why you braved the freezing cold temperatures just to mark nothing. Key depth has been between 23-26ft of water over deep flats. Pike suckers have been working as well as they did in November. Perch colored jigging spoons have also been getting the job done for many anglers too.

Pike - Cold weather has limited anglers activity with pike. Anglers spearing pike have been having good luck seeing consistent action. Large decoy suckers have been very effective at drawing in pike.

Panfish - Anglers able to get out during the brief warm-ups have been finding cooperative crappies on area lakes. Like the walleyes, crappies are being found in 23-28ft of water and are often there one day gone the next. Good news is, like the walleyes, if they are there, they are biting and have been good size. Small tungsten jigs tipped with a small plastic, wax worm or crappie minnow have been effective.
